Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie, born on November 24, 1981 was an American political commentator. Her previous roles included an presidential candidate as well as a TV host at MSNBC. She is also frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and an earlier co-host on the show The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they were quitting the show in order to start their own project called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is the co-host of the show Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared on various network shows, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball says that her renewed political interest to her experiences as a mom in the 2008 primary elections. In addition, she witnessed the US presidency election during her time in Jordan. She saw the effects it had on residents of her home country and was moved to see the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellowship member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congressional District for Congress in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She was the host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show she co-hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. In May of 2017, she created the People's House Project, a political action committee working on behalf of Democratic causes.
